France to Continue Supporting Ukraine
The Élysée Palace has announced that French President Emmanuel Macron promised to continue economic assistance to Ukraine during a phone conversation with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
This was reported by TASS.
The presidents discussed the support that France has already provided and will provide to Ukraine in terms of economic and financial aid. Questions regarding the supply of military equipment were also addressed.
"The assistance that the EU can provide to Ukraine will also be on the agenda of the EU emergency summit, which will take place on February 24," the Élysée Palace's statement said.
It was also reported that the French president reaffirmed his support for Ukraine and commitment to the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as pointed out the Ukrainian president's composure in the current situation.
