VIDEO: One Cannot End a Conflict Simply by Declaring Its Conclusion, Says Yeghoyan to Azerbaijani MPs

One cannot end a conflict simply by declaring its conclusion and failing to address the root causes of the conflict. This was stated by Arman Yeghoyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction and the head of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on European Integration, during his speech at the meeting of the Legal Affairs, Human Rights, and Democracy Committee of the Euronews Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan.

Speaking about the causes of the Artsakh conflict, he pointed out that these issues remain unresolved. “They continue to exist as they have yet to be resolved. I believe that these causes have deepened even further. Hatred towards Armenians in Azerbaijan, and the animosity towards everything related to Armenian culture and Armenia, unfortunately, is growing,” Yeghoyan stated.
