Rainfall Expected in Yerevan
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has released the weather forecast for the next five days.
In the vicinity of Yerevan, on February 7 during the day, as well as on the 8th and 9th, and the 11th and 12th, dry weather is expected. However, precipitation is forecasted for February 10.
Across the republic, on February 7 during the day, and on the 8th and 9th, and the 11th during the day, dry conditions are also expected. On February 10, significant areas in the regions will face rainfall, particularly during the night and morning hours of the 11th.
Winds will be southwest at 2-5 m/s. From February 8 to 10, certain regions may experience gusts of wind reaching 18-23 m/s.
The air temperature is expected to gradually rise by 6-8 degrees from the 7th to the 9th, before dropping by the same margin on the 10th.
Historical climate data for Yerevan on February 8 indicate that the maximum recorded temperature is 12.5°C (in 1979) and the minimum is -16.1°C (in 1968), with an average daily temperature of -1.6°C.
