Tragic Car Accident: 38-Year-Old Driver Crashes Toyota into Rocks Falling 120 Meters into a Ravine
On January 23, a tragic car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 18:20, 38-year-old Harutyun Manadyan, a resident of Yerevan, lost control of his Toyota vehicle on the 2nd kilometer section of the Ashtarak-Yegvard highway. The car veered off the roadway, rolled several times, and crashed approximately 120 meters into a boulder-strewn ravine.
According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, Manadyan died on impact. His body was discovered outside the vehicle by rescue teams from the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' fire-rescue squad No. 19 in Ashtarak, who then transported it on a stretcher to the ambulance that arrived promptly from Ashtarak Hospital.
