A strong earthquake occurred this morning in the city of Kapan. It is noteworthy that this is the second earthquake that residents have felt in recent days.
ArmDaily.am connected with Gevorg Parsyan, the Mayor of Kapan, to find out the current situation in the city, whether there are any casualties or damaged structures.
“There is no significant damage, but we have sustained some minor damages,” said Parsyan.
The mayor stated that currently, there is no panic among the residents.
Recall that today, on January 16, at 07:25 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 was recorded 12 km southeast of Kapan at a depth of 10 km.
