The Conflict Remains Unresolved, Armenia Has Lost 3 Lives: France Responds Sharply to Aliyev's Statement
French MP and chair of the Security and Defense Subcommittee of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Nathalie Loiseau, has harshly responded to Azerbaijani Ambassador Rahman Mustafaev, who shared on Twitter a statement from Aliyev claiming that the Minsk Group should no longer engage in the Karabakh conflict as it is 'closed'.
“Mr. Ambassador, diplomacy first and foremost requires respect for the country you serve. France is a co-chair of the Minsk Group, and you pretend to refuse your role. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not been resolved, the ceasefire regime is not being upheld, and Armenia lost 3 lives yesterday,” Loiseau replied.
