Liquid Gas Price Returned to 50 Tenge Per Liter in Kazakhstan
In Kazakhstan, against the backdrop of protests, the governmental commission has returned the price of liquid gas to 50 tenge per liter. This decision was announced to protesters in Aktau by Deputy Prime Minister Yerali Tugzhanov.
It has also been revealed that on January 5, the President of Kazakhstan will hold consultations regarding the socio-economic situation in the country.
It is worth noting that for the third consecutive day, hundreds of protesters have taken to the streets due to the increase in gas prices. From January 1, the price of liquid gas per liter rose from about 10 to 20 rubles.
