Avanesyan Reveals the Number of Vaccinated Citizens Who Died
During a press conference, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan stated, "We have set a six-month period for re-vaccination," addressing the observation that doctors recommend re-vaccination after eight months, as antibodies remain in the body during that time.
Anahit Avanesyan noted that the ministry conducts its policy by summarizing the opinions of its professional council, which rely solely on scientific evidence and the currently available scientific basis for medicine.
When asked whether certain processes, including temperature and pressure measurements, are maintained prior to vaccination, Anahit Avanesyan responded that these medical examination requirements have not changed. According to the minister, no additional inspections are necessary, and the therapist makes a decision about vaccinating the citizen after asking specific questions.
"The experience of our country shows that vaccinations are safe and effective. Out of the 1.2 million vaccinations conducted so far, 79 citizens experienced certain health issues. In the majority of these cases, 40 citizens had contracted the coronavirus. This indicates that the health complaints were related to the coronavirus; the citizen simply was not aware they were ill and got vaccinated," Anahit Avanesyan stated, adding that there are no contraindications for vaccination in this case.
The minister mentioned that in other cases, allergic reactions and various other complaints have arisen, which have been thoroughly investigated. Medical assistance was provided to citizens who needed it, and according to Anahit Avanesyan, there have been no issues in this regard.
The minister also highlighted that there are citizens who have been vaccinated but still contracted the coronavirus, which led to severe illness and death. "There have been 23 such citizens, with an average age exceeding 75, and they had chronic illnesses," said the minister.
