Does Arshak Karapetyan also have a Russian passport? ‘FP’
According to the newspaper ‘FP’, various reasons are currently circulating regarding the dismissal of Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan. In this regard, ‘FP’ has received new intriguing information. Sources within the government have reported that there were actually several reasons for the dismissal, with the ‘culmination’ being information that became known to Prime Minister Pashinyan.
Specifically, according to these sources, Pashinyan was informed that Arshak Karapetyan holds a passport from the Russian Federation as well. To avoid unnecessary noise, Pashinyan suggested that Karapetyan write a quiet resignation letter, which he did.
Unfortunately, throughout yesterday, all our efforts to contact Arshak Karapetyan and verify the information were unsuccessful. The ‘FP’ newspaper intends to send a written inquiry to the relevant services of the Russian Federation to clarify the extent to which these reports are accurate regarding Karapetyan’s possession of a Russian passport. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.
