“The U.S. Embassy in Armenia sent a security alert to citizens via email yesterday. This is a specific alert regarding the Goris-Kapan highway, which has been seized by Azerbaijanis who have established checkpoints there. This is not a typical posting found on websites. On October 4, citizens had already been advised: ‘Do not travel to Armenia.’”
