Knowing my brother, I can say he blew himself up: Said the brother of fallen officer Taron Sahakyan
It has already been reported that yesterday the body of the fallen officer, 31-year-old Taron Sahakyan, was brought from Baku to Yerevan on a special flight. In an interview with journalist Voskanyan Sarkisyan, Taron's father, reserve major Jivan Sahakyan, an active participant in the battles of the 1990s, stated that Taron's body showed no signs of torture, with only two shrapnel injuries present.
In a conversation with "Haykakan Zhamanak", Taron Sahakyan's brother Roman Sahakyan also indicated that he was present at the examination. "There are no traces of torture on him. The body only has shrapnel injuries. Knowing my brother, I can say he blew himself up. It was the result of a grenade explosion," said Roman, adding that Taron was killed in the area between Sisian and Jermuk.
