Current Government's Existence Is Already Meaningless, Moreover, Day by Day, Dangerous: Political Scientist
Political scientist Stepan Danielyan stated on his Facebook page: “Politics has some kind of logic; when that logic disappears, chaos begins, which is now the case in Armenia, and this chaos is increasingly deepening.
The current regime in Armenia, according to a considerable mass of resident-consumers, had a certain logic—giving concessions to the enemy, opening a page of peace, the soldiers would not be killed, and life would fall into a routine, in short, there is a future.
When peace is not established, soldiers are killed, roads are not opened, the enemy grows more brazen day by day, the West does not help, the North does not trust, the South is not democratic and is under sanctions, and the governance system is increasingly sinking into chaos, then the last remnants of perceiving reality logically are lost.
The same applies to the official opposition: “the time will come, we will do something...” The time has come! At this stage, the official opposition must at least take one step and stop participating in all this.
The existence of the current government is already meaningless, moreover, day by day, it is dangerous. Changes are needed, and now is the time to create a constitutional crisis. This is no longer a struggle for power; this is an option to get out of the situation. Any new government is temporary, any step is also temporary, we have generally entered a temporary regime, and this 'temporary' word will accompany us for a long time.”
