Erdogan: Now Is Not a Good Time for Relations with America
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that there has been a "not good beginning" in working with U.S. President Joe Biden. According to Armenpress, Erdogan made this remark during an interview with Turkish media in the context of his visit to the United States.
"I want us (Turkey and the U.S.) to be friends as two NATO countries, rather than adversaries. However, the current situation is not very good. Based on my experience of serving as Prime Minister and President for 19 years, I can say that, unfortunately, now is not a good time for relations with America. I have worked well with George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump, but I can't say we have started off well with Biden," Erdogan stated.
