New Details on the Explosion in a Toyota Camry Near Malatia Market
The Malatia Division of the Police's Investigative Department has identified the victims hospitalized due to the explosion in a Toyota Camry that occurred yesterday, August 16, in Yerevan, at the intersection of Raffi and Sebastia streets, reports Shamshyan.com.
It has been determined that those transported to the 'Astghik' medical center include residents of the Ararat region:
39-year-old Sarkis Soghomonyan,
36-year-old Armine Simonian,
and 3-year-old Gor Soghomonyan.
Also, a 68-year-old resident of the Ararat region, Sarkis Margaryan, was taken to the burn center with thermal burns. Another resident of the Ararat region, Vrej Margaryan, was taken to the same center with a thermal burn of 2.3 degrees affecting the neck, forearm, and wrist areas.
The police are investigating the birth date and identity of the driver involved.
