Arthur Davtyan Becomes Olympic Bronze Medalist at Tokyo 2020
Arthur Davtyan, a member of the Armenian gymnastics national team, has secured an Olympic bronze medal. According to Armenpress, in the individual vault finals of the 32nd Summer Olympic Games taking place in Tokyo, Japan, Davtyan scored 14.733 points, earning him third place.
The gold medal was awarded to South Korea's Yoahwan Shin, who collected 14.783 points, while Denis Abilyazin from the Russian Olympic Committee won the silver medal.
Arthur Davtyan is a member of the Armenian gymnastics team and is also a winner of the European Championships and the European Games. He has previously participated in the London and Rio Olympic Games. Born on August 8, 1992, Davtyan began gymnastics at the age of 7 at the Albert Azaryan Sports School in 1998. He has been part of the Armenian national team since 2008.
