Shooting in Yerevan: Suspect is a US Citizen
On June 20, a shooting occurred in Yerevan. At around 15:40, the Arabkir police received a report that a citizen was firing indiscriminately from one of the floors of the building at 16/b Gulakyan Street.
According to shamshyan.com, it was found that the shooter, 41-year-old Armen Petrosyan, who lived on the fourth floor of the mentioned building, fired six shots into the air with a weapon he possessed.
Fortunately, there are no reported injuries. Police officers conducted explanatory work with him, and he surrendered voluntarily to the authorities, after which he was taken to the Arabkir police station. The police and investigators discovered the weapon used in the crime.
Several citizens gathered at the scene stated that the shooter is an American citizen who claimed that he was just having a good time and discharged his weapon to scare away the eagles and not harm the pigeons.
