Zod Wind Company in Sotk Sues Armenian Government for Failing to Protect Business from Azerbaijani Incursion

The Zod Wind company is demanding $5 million in damages from the Armenian government for losses suffered due to an Azerbaijani military incursion. On November 25, representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces entered Armenian territory near Sotk and seized the wind turbines, buildings, and land belonging to the wind energy producer.

The company has submitted requests to the government, which has not even deemed it necessary to respond to them. The first court session for this case is scheduled for June.
