The situation created after provocations by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable as of noon on May 23, with no incidents reported. This information has been provided by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
"On the evening of May 22, part of the personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces that had infiltrated the territory of Armenia returned to their initial positions. The claim circulating in the press that 'there are more than 1000 Azerbaijani soldiers near Lake Sevan in the Syunik region' is not true," the statement reads.
