Iran Denies Rumors About 160 Armenian Soldiers in Its Territory
The Iranian news site "Parstoday.com" has published a statement from the Iranian embassy in Yerevan regarding false news circulating in Armenian media about the presence of 160 Armenian soldiers in Iran.
"The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Armenia denies and considers the reports circulating in some Armenian media about the presence of 160 Armenian soldiers in Iran, and that the Iranian side has set conditions for their return, to be false and unfounded," the statement reads.
The news about the 160 soldiers had also been previously denied by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
