2.9 Billion Dram Allocated to the Ministry of Health
The Government has allocated 2.9 billion dram to the Ministry of Health through a banking payment card from its reserve fund. The funds are intended for the timely and proper implementation of necessary measures to ensure the rapid prevention, control, treatment, and overcoming of the coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to the decision adopted by the Government, the allocated amount will be used to reimburse the profit tax obligations of the following organizations: the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, the National Center for Infectious Diseases, and the Scientific Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics, which was formed in 2020. The total profit tax for these three centers amounted to 486 million dram, which was generated solely from calculations made during the prevention and treatment of the coronavirus infection.
