Pedestrian Injured by Opel Driver Dies at Astghik Medical Center
On May 20, a fatal accident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 12:30 PM, Ashot Hakobyan, a 65-year-old resident of Yerevan, struck a male pedestrian, aged between 60 to 65, with his Opel vehicle at the roundabout of Rafi and Andranik streets in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
The driver did not flee the scene, instead calling for an ambulance. A duty team from the Yerevan 1-03 ambulance service promptly arrived on the scene and transported the injured pedestrian to the Astghik Medical Center.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at the medical facility.
