Artsakh President Araik Harutyunyan Questioned by Prosecutors
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, stated on his Facebook page that he was questioned as a witness by investigators from the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office.
"As I promised, I inform you that I have been questioned as a witness by investigators from the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office regarding a criminal case initiated under the first part of Article 312 of the Artsakh Criminal Code (concerning the overthrow of the constitutional order). Given the importance of this case, I provided all the information I had concerning the questions raised and reaffirmed my willingness to participate in the proceedings in accordance with the law in the future.
Understanding the public demand to clarify the course of events and cause-and-effect relationships surrounding the significant period of our homeland's life—the 44-day war—I will also publicly present answers to certain questions within the limits of my real powers and awareness in the near future," stated Araik Harutyunyan.
