Warning to Drivers: There Are Closed and Impassable Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Berd-Chambarak road, the Vardenyats pass, and the roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and the Kar Reservoir in the Ararat region are closed.

Difficult travel conditions are reported on the Dilijan serpentine roads, the highways of the Syunik region, and the inter-community roads in the Amasia region of Shirak.

There is black ice in some places on the Vanadzor-Dilijan, Tashir-Privolnoye, and Spitak-Gyumri highways and in the Spitak serpentine.

Snow is present in the section called Saravan-"Zanger" and in the Syunik region (except for the towns of Kapan and Meghri).
