Prince Harry Stripped of All Titles Permanently

The Buckingham Palace has officially announced that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will not return to the duties of senior members of the British royal family. This information was reported by the newspaper “Московский комсомолец,” citing the BBC.

Queen Elizabeth II has stripped Harry and Meghan of their patronage roles in several institutions and charities. Prince Harry will also lose his remaining military titles, such as the title of Captain General of the Royal Marines.

The official statement emphasized that despite this, “the duke and duchess will remain beloved members of the family.” A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan noted that they will remain committed to their duties and are ready to continue supporting the organizations they are appointed to patronize.

The couple decided to step back from their duties as members of the British royal family starting April 1 of last year. This has allowed them to relocate to the United States, as well as work and focus on their entrepreneurial endeavors.
