Train Hits Toyota on Tracks in Armavir Region, Vehicle Shunted 15m; One Injured
On February 13, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 1:40 PM, at the intersection in the village of Dalarik, at point 28 10, 9 T, a train traveling from Gyumri to Yerevan (train number 687) struck a Toyota Camry driven by 31-year-old Oghsen Kharratyan, a resident of the Tavush region, which had crossed the tracks.
According to Shamshyan.com, following the collision, the driver of the Toyota received first aid at the scene from medical personnel who arrived from the Baghramyan ambulance station, and was then transported to the Armavir Medical Center.
The police are investigating the identity of the train's operator. According to Shamshyan's reports, when the train collided with the Toyota, the vehicle was thrown approximately 15 meters away from the tracks.
