30-Year-Old Citizen Attempts Suicide, Prevented by MP

On February 3, at 21:08, a call was received by the National Crisis Management Center of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations, reporting that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping from the Kievyan Bridge in Yerevan.

A firefighting crew and a psychologist from the Psychological Support Division were dispatched to the scene. The citizen (R.S., born in 1981) was prevented from taking his own life by MP Gor Gevorgyan. R.S. has since been transferred to the Mashtots Police Department.
