Major and Tragic Car Accident in Aragatsotn Region, 2 Mercedes and a Gazelle Truck Collide - 1 Dead, 7 Injured

Today, January 30, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 10:50 AM, two Mercedes vehicles collided with a Gazelle truck on the 56 km mark of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway.

According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, eight people were transported to the Talin Medical Center. As a result of the accident, the Gazelle and one of the Mercedes vehicles went off the roadway and ended up in a field.

While senior investigators Hayk Vardanyan and Vahagn Eloyan were working at the accident site, a call was received from the hospital indicating that one of the injured had died.
