"Pathos and Divisions Won't Help": Artak Beglaryan
Artak Beglaryan, head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Artsakh, wrote on his Facebook page: "Since independence, today is the heaviest day for us, yet nonetheless, congratulations on the Day of the Armenian Army and Defender of the Fatherland. Our losses and pain are boundless, just as our debts and real duties are immeasurable. Yes, since the moment of establishment, significant work has been done towards the establishment of Armenian statehood and the army; however, the mistakes and omissions have reached critical proportions, which have also led to this situation.
If we truly wish to correct our mistakes and move along the path of strengthening statehood, then pathos and divisions will not help; instead, we need intelligent, diligent, and sustained work based on continuous self-analysis, proper risk assessment of our environment, and dramatically improving the effectiveness of management systems. If we succeed in this, we will earn the benevolent attitude of history; if not, we will surely find countless reasons to complain about the fate of Armenians.
Congratulations and thank you to everyone who has even a small contribution to the defense of the Homeland and the establishment of the Armenian Army, and we have no right to forget, even for a moment, about the immense moral debts we owe to the fallen heroes."
