Prime Minister Accepted My Application for Resignation from Shirak Region Governor Position: Petrosyan

Former Shirak Region Governor Tigran Petrosyan posted on his Facebook page:

Dear compatriots, dear residents of Shirak,

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia has accepted my application for resignation from the position of Governor of Shirak region.

I thank you for entrusting me with a significant portion of responsibility in one of the regions of Armenia that has the greatest potential.

I am grateful to my fellow Shirak residents, local and international partners, the region's local self-government bodies, and the mass media for your support and cooperation in overcoming the challenges the region has faced during this difficult period.

Dear journalists, I will answer your questions during the press conference organized in the coming days.
