New COVID-19 Figures in Georgia

According to the latest data from the past day, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Georgia is 1,177. These figures are based on 15,205 tests. This information was reported by Aliq Media.

As of today, the total number of infected individuals in the country has reached 245,789. More than 42% of the new cases are in Tbilisi (496). In Imereti, there are 187 new cases, in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, there are 105 cases, in Adjara, there are 52, and in Kvemo Kartli and Shida Kartli regions, there are 83 cases each, while Kakheti has 88 cases. The fewest cases are reported in Kvemo Svaneti, with only 5 cases.

Additionally, 26 patients have died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,893. A total of 837 individuals have recovered, with 229,196 recoveries reported overall.

Currently, there are 13,674 active COVID-19 cases in the country, with more than 27% receiving inpatient treatment. A total of 9,294 patients are being treated at home. There are 777 severe cases, and 238 patients are on ventilators.
