Erdogan Announces Intent to Create Living Conditions in Nagorno-Karabakh Without Peacekeepers
Turkey aims to establish coexistence conditions in Nagorno-Karabakh without the need for peacekeeping forces, stated the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We want to create conditions that will ensure coexistence in Nagorno-Karabakh without the necessity for peacekeepers or observer operations. When that happens, I hope we will once again demonstrate to the world the constructive results of Turkish-Russian partnership," Erdogan wrote on his Telegram channel.
Erdogan mentioned that during his conversation with Putin, they assessed the work of the Turkish-Russian joint center responsible for monitoring the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.
