Stepantsminda-Lars Road Closed
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Russian Emergencies Ministry's North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to all types of vehicles due to the danger of avalanches.
According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transport.
Drivers are advised to travel only on winter tires.
