Roads Closed in Armenia; Fog Reported in Some Areas
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kariesh Lake in the Aragatsotn region are closed.
In the Kotayk region, fog has been reported in the towns of Yeghvard, Nor Gegh, Buzhakan, and Teghenik.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has confirmed that the ban on entry into Georgia for foreigners remains in effect. This ban does not apply to cargo transportation.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
