"The Campaign Against the Church is Nothing New; There is an International Trend Aimed at Weakening Countries by Undermining Their Traditions" - Vazgen Manukyan
This completely fits into the concept of betrayal. This was stated by Vazgen Manukyan, the candidate for Prime Minister of the Homeland Salvation Movement, during a conversation with journalists today, December 27, as he commented on the revelations made by the former Armenian Ambassador to the Vatican, Mikael Minasian, regarding a letter from the Secretary General of the CSTO to the Secretary of the Armenian Security Council dated September 1.
“I have also read this news and am not particularly surprised because I know the level and aspirations of our authorities. It completely fits into the concept of betrayal,” he noted.
A group of people gathered at the Saint Gayane Church yard to support His Holiness Karekin II and the clergy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, who have faced calls for violence from those supporting the authorities.
“The campaign against the church is nothing new; it's not just about our Apostolic Church, but there is an international trend that aims to weaken countries by undermining their traditions. Traditions are history, language, and religion. Some people are receiving funds from abroad to carry out this work here,” he emphasized.
