Senor Hasratyan: 'They Took a Signed Receipt Which Could Be Made Public Anytime If the Obligations Aren't Fulfilled'
Former spokesperson for the Artsakh Defense Army, Senor Hasratyan, wrote on Facebook:
“Almost all fairy tales are born from reality. Just like this one. Once upon a time, there was a country, and that country had a king... It is said that one day the people rebelled against this king and demanded his resignation. However, despite all the protests, the king refused to voluntarily leave the throne, as not only a portion of his own people opposed it, but also certain foreign powers. Some say that the king of this country, with the assistance of these foreign powers, had promised, in exchange for a certain sum of money, not only to resolve a historical part of his kingdom but also the issue of a transit corridor connecting his territory with that of a neighboring country in favor of the neighbor. This was about not millions, but several billion in so-called 'kickbacks.' According to rumors, when these sums were handed directly to the king, a signed receipt was taken from him that could have been published and made available to everyone at any time should he fail to fulfill the obligations he undertook. It was precisely the existence of this 'receipt' that explained why the king refused to leave the throne and continued to hold power through various manipulations. How successful he was in this endeavor is known only to the king and the people. Good tongues say that nevertheless, the people triumphed while the king hanged.”
