Ara Aivazyan Had a Phone Conversation with the Polish Foreign Minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ara Aivazyan, had a telephone conversation with the Polish Foreign Minister, Zbigniew Rau.
During the discussion, the two foreign ministers addressed various issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda, expressing mutual readiness to take practical steps to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
They also touched upon the expansion of cooperation within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership. In this context, Minister Aivazyan specifically highlighted the importance of the Eastern Partnership format as an effective platform for cooperation based on shared values.
Regarding regional security and stability issues, Minister Aivazyan comprehensively presented to his counterpart the aggression by Azerbaijan against the people of Artsakh, with direct involvement from Turkey, and the steps being taken to address its consequences. Both sides emphasized the importance of addressing the questions of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
