The Danger of Losing Our Statehood Has Forced Us to Stand Up
President of the Bar Association Ara Zohrabyan, along with his colleagues, will march from the Bar Association's location to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia at 11:00 AM on December 22. This was announced by Ara Zohrabyan on his Facebook page, where he stated that he will present the following documents: a) a demand to the Speaker of the National Assembly to lift the state of emergency and a motion of no confidence against the Prime Minister; b) an appeal to депутатs who are lawyers to leave the 'My Step' faction; c) a report of a crime to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.
We, the lawyers, want to defend a human in the court bearing the flag of the Republic of Armenia. It is the danger of losing our statehood that has forced us to stand up and urgently free ourselves from the source of danger, the Prime Minister and his team.
