Police Provide No Details on Criminal Case Involving Goris Mayor's Detention

The Armenian police have detained Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan in connection with an initiated criminal case.

In a conversation with Armenpress, the Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia confirmed the detention, stating, "The mayor has been detained in the framework of an initiated criminal case."

However, the police did not specify the details regarding the nature of the criminal case. They mentioned that the file has been transferred to the Investigative Committee.

The Investigative Committee also refrained from providing additional details.
