Photos of 2 Citizens Who Were Found After 61 Days of Being Missing
Two more citizens who had been missing for 61 days have been discovered. The two civilians, a father and son, Mikael and Gegham Petrosyans, were found during search and rescue operations and have been escorted to Stepanakert with the support of Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Major General Karen Sargsyan, the director of the State Emergency Service, and Major General Ashot Balasyan from the Defense Army welcomed them and accompanied them to the Republican Medical Center, where the Petrosyans will receive the necessary medical assistance.
Karen Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the Russian forces conducting peacekeeping missions in Artsakh, led by Commander Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, as well as to General Ashot Balasyan and the team members conducting the search operations.
The director of the Emergency Service, Karen Sargsyan, noted that search efforts are ongoing daily and that all possible means and leverage are being employed to locate missing servicemen and citizens.
