Financial Assistance of 300,000 Drams Begins for Displaced Artsakh Residents
The process of providing financial assistance of 300,000 drams to citizens registered in the lost settlements of Artsakh has begun, facilitated through the branches of "Haypost." Beneficiaries are individually notified about the provision of assistance via text messages. This was reported to Armenpress by the spokesperson for the Minister of Labor and Social Issues of the Republic of Armenia, Zara Manucharyan.
“Ninety percent of potential beneficiaries have applied to take advantage of this support program, and their applications continue to be reviewed by the government of Artsakh. Displaced individuals from their settlements have started receiving these assistance funds since December 19,” said Zara Manucharyan.
The deadline for accepting applications to benefit from this assistance program for Artsakh residents displaced from settlements now under Azerbaijani control has been extended until January 11, 2021.
