The Name of Manvel Grigoryan Will Forever Remain on the Heroic Pages of Our History. Araik Harutyunyan

I felt deep sorrow upon hearing the news of the passing of Manvel Grigoryan, a hero of Artsakh, a member of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh from 1992 to 1996, former president of the Union of Land Defenders, and Lieutenant General. This was stated by the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page.

He particularly noted, “His contribution to the defense and establishment of our homeland is undeniable. On behalf of the people of Artsakh, the authorities, and personally from me, I express my condolences to Manvel Grigoryan's family and comrades in arms, wishing them resilience and strength of spirit. His name will forever remain on the heroic pages of our history.”
