Police Denies Reports of Incident Involving Police Chief at Government Building
Information was spread claiming that an incident allegedly took place at the Government building involving the Chief of Police. The Police of the Republic of Armenia announced that the information is not true.
"The Police Chief was indeed at the Government building last night, speaking with the gathered citizens about the created situation, trying to jointly prevent the further course of undesirable incidents. We urge the media not to escalate an already complicated situation by publishing inaccurate information and not to artificially stir up tensions," the statement said.
