Parties Have Not Reached Out to the Red Cross on the Exchange of Bodies and Captives

The Red Cross is ready to participate in the process of exchanging bodies, captives, and other detained individuals between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was announced to Sputnik Armenia by Zara Amatuni, the public relations officer of the Red Cross office in Armenia.

“The first issue is that there must be an agreement between the parties, and they must officially contact us. After that, in the specific situation, all matters will be coordinated, and all steps will be carried out with the consent of the parties,” said Amatuni. She also emphasized that, to date, the parties have not reached out to the Red Cross.
