Armen Abazyan Appointed Director of NSS
By the decree of the President of Armenia, Armen Abazyan has been appointed as the director of the National Security Service (NSS).
“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as part 1 of Article 4.1 of the law on National Security Bodies, APPOINT ARMEN ABAZYAN AS DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY SERVICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA,” the presidential decree states.
By another presidential decree, Armen Abazyan was relieved of his position as deputy director of the NSS.
