Acting Director of National Security Service Mikael Hambardzumyan to be dismissed
The acting director of the National Security Service of Armenia, Mikael Hambardzumyan, will be dismissed from his position. This was confirmed by the staff of the President of the Republic in response to a query from Tert.am.
When asked whether the President of Armenia had received a proposal from the Prime Minister regarding the dismissal of the acting director of the National Security Service, Mikael Hambardzumyan, the President's staff stated, 'An offer has been received.'
It is worth noting that Mikael Hambardzumyan has been in the NSS for many years; he was appointed as the acting director on October 8, following the dismissal of NSS Director Argishti Kyaramyan.
