The Catalan City of Berga Recognizes the Independence of Artsakh

The Catalan city of Berga has recognized the right of the Armenian people of Artsakh to self-determination and the independence and sovereignty of a territory that serves as the historical homeland of the indigenous Armenian population. This was reported by the Akvi Berguda publication.

In a plenary session, the city council adopted a resolution with a majority of votes that condemns Azerbaijan's aggression and its cooperation with Turkey. The document highlights Azerbaijan's war crimes and the use of prohibited weapons against the civilian population.
