Insurance Fund Provides Compensation to Families of 10 Soldiers Killed After September 27

The Board of Asset and Liability Management of the Insurance Fund for Soldiers has made a decision during its meeting held on November 6, 2020, to provide compensations for 10 cases that occurred after September 27 of this year.

The list of soldiers and the amounts of compensation are as follows:

• Eduard Hovhannisyan Grisha
• Narek Lorytsyan Artak
• Narek Armeni Mesropyan
• Arman Tovmasyan Samvel
• Edgar Zakaryan Sevak
• Liparit Dashtoyan Ashot
• Gevorg Harutyunyan Armen
• Hayk Arthur Chitchyan
• Myasnik Myasnikyan Pargev
• David Harutyunyan Samvel

The Foundation will provide the following amounts to the families of the soldiers who died while defending the homeland:

• For commissioned officers: 82,000,000 AMD
• For contracted/volunteer personnel: 70,000,000 AMD
• For conscripted soldiers: 58,000,000 AMD

Of the mentioned amounts, 10,000,000 AMD will be paid as a one-time payment, while the remaining amount will be disbursed in monthly installments over a period of 20 years.

According to the agreements with “Haybusinessbank” CJSC, “Conversebank” CJSC, and “Artsakhbank” CJSC, the funds will be transferred to specially opened bank accounts for the beneficiaries, which will be serviced for free.
