Peaceful Solutions Possible for Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict, Says Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has assured that the Russian side is doing and will do everything in its power to halt the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Russian leader made this statement during a meeting with representatives of religious organizations, as reported by TASS.
“You know that Russia is doing everything it can to end the conflict in the South Caucasus as quickly as possible, in order to save the lives of people who are standing against each other under the sights of rifles and are using weapons against one another,” he said.
Putin is confident that the objectives pursued by the parties involved in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can also be achieved through peaceful means.
