Iranian President Expresses Concern Over Presence of Terrorists Near National Borders
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has emphasized the importance of ensuring that there are no terrorists near the country's borders. According to Armenpress, Rouhani made this statement during a cabinet meeting while addressing the military actions taking place in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"Our two neighbors have been involved in military clashes since September. Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been active in this regard, and the armed forces are vigilantly monitoring the security of our borders. The safety of our borders is of great significance to us, and it is essential that no terrorists are present near them," Rouhani stated.
The Iranian President expressed hope that the war would not alter the geographical boundaries of the countries involved. "Iran's perspectives have been presented to both sides, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has developed a project that is very suitable for establishing peace and ending the clashes in Karabakh. We hope it will be successful," Rouhani added.
