When I approached her, I tried to find words of comfort, and she said: I am not crying for my son, I am thinking about these young mothers; they will not withstand that pain... We all live with the pain of others, despite the fact that the world has always been indifferent, has never sympathized with us, has left us alone. But no matter how heavy it is, we cannot accept the pain of others with joy; during wartime, the greatest challenge is to remain HUMAN...’
